North Branch Park includes a river, shore land, nationally registered wetlands, unusual geological features, streams and more. The park covers 193 acres and provides a diverse wildlife for observation. The city also provides residents with program guides so they are always up-to-date about the city's ongoings and entertainment offerings. For youth, there are nine weeks of Summer Day Camps each year. The Montpelier Recreation Department also provides activities for residents of all ages. The department also provides discount tickets to local amusement parks.
